At a glance: Use the Creative Optimization Discovery dashboard to analyze the performance of your creatives and the scenes and elements they're built from, to produce and maintain data-driven, winning creatives.
About the Creative Optimization Discovery dashboard
The Creative Optimization dashboards let you measure the performance of your creatives by pulling all your creatives from all media channels into one place. Analyze their performance by selected dimensions, across multiple campaigns, channels, and more, to gain critical insights before planning, selecting, and producing your next batch of creatives.
The AI-powered Creative Optimization Discovery dashboard gives your creative team all the info they need to produce winning creatives. It provides granular performance data, enabling informed decisions based on the specific elements or features within a creative that contribute to its effectiveness. With this dashboard, you can consistently produce and maintain successful creatives that are data-driven and optimized for maximum impact. Based on the main filter selections, you can view a gallery of your creatives, or break them down into individual scenes and elements.
Get started
If you haven't configured Creative Optimization yet, you can find instructions on how to do so here. Once set up the Creative Optimization dashboards are updated once daily.
Note: Cost data metrics are displayed differently in the dashboards depending on whether or not you have an AppsFlyer ROI360 subscription. Learn more
Filtering, Quick Queries, and sorting
The main Creative Optimization filter is the primary one for all dashboards. You can use the search bar and Quick Queries as secondary filters within the Discovery dashboard. Plus, you can sort the gallery by various metrics.
Search bar
The search bar is a secondary filter that enables you to freely search for specific elements.
To search:
Write the element description in the search bar and click Enter. For example, you can write "race car" and this will pull up all "race car" elements (and the creatives and scenes they appear in).
Note: Search bar input text can be in English only.
Quick Queries
Quick Queries acts as a secondary filter, enabling you to quickly and easily view specific data such as "New creatives", "Opening scenes", and much more. They can be found on the Creatives, Scenes, and Elements tabs, with unique queries specific to each.
Note: The main Creative Optimization filter is the primary one. Quick Queries is a secondary filter, which filters those results further. This means that the main filter will override Quick Queries in case of conflicting requests.
To use Quick Queries:
Simply click the specific query you want (multiple queries can be selected) and the gallery will be filtered according to your selections.
Some available queries include:
- New creatives/scenes/elements (appearing for under 14 days)
- Long-running creatives/scenes/elements (appearing for over 180 days)
- Under 30 days
- Long videos (over 15 seconds)
- Short videos (under 15 seconds)
- Active creatives/scenes/elements (significant media spend)
- Animated scenes/elements
- Live scenes/elements
- Mixed scenes (both live and animated features)
- Gameplay scenes
- UGC scenes/elements (content that is created and shared by users)
Note: A UGC is determined on the creative level, so if an animated scene is part of a UGC, that scene (and the elements in the creative as well) will be considered a UGC. - Shown on SRNs

Scenes
Powered by AI, video creatives are automatically broken down into scenes and displayed along with their performance data—without any manual process. Scene performance data is taken from the creative it comes from. If the same scene appears in more than one video, the data is an aggregate of all the creatives it appears in. The data is available in the dashboard about 24 hours after partner integration. This feature is available with Creative Optimization Advanced and Premium subscription plans only.
For a description of what each tile displays, see Creatives above.
Elements
Our fully automated AI algorithms further break down video creatives into significant elements (basic visual components) which are identified and displayed to enable the most granular analysis. The performance data is taken from the creative it comes from. If the same element appears in more than one creative, the data is an aggregate of all the creatives it appears in. The data is available in the dashboard about 24 hours after partner integration. This feature is available with Creative Optimization Advanced and Premium subscription plans only.
