At a glance: Enable cost integrations for multiple apps at the same time. 

Overview

Get aggregate marketing cost data (including cost-related LTV performance metrics) using Cost API. The data is accurate, retroactively updated, and automated.

When you use Cost Settings to enable cost integrations via API at the account level, you integrate each ad network once for multiple (or all) apps in your AppsFlyer account.

Enabling Cost API

To enable Cost API:

  1. In AppsFlyer, go to Settings > Cost Settings.
  2. Click + New integration.
  3. Select the media source (partner) you want to connect, and click Next.
  4. Configure and authenticate the integration to the partner. The integration method depends on the partner. Learn more
  5. Enter (or customize) the integration name.
  6. Select the apps to connect.
  7. Click Save integration.
    •  The API is active. AppsFlyer collects data from the partner 6 times a day, on average once every four hours.
    • The Active integration section for specific apps is updated according to what you did at the account level via Cost Integrations.

Additional information

Integration methods

The integration method used to enable a cost integration depends on the partner. It can be one of the following:

  • Login: Click Log in to <Network Name> to open the partner login window. Then follow the partner’s login prompts.
  • Credentials: Enter partner-specific parameter values. For example: API Key.
  • None: No integration configuration is required.

Deleting a cost integration

To delete a cost integration:

  1. In AppsFlyer, go to Settings > Cost Settings.
  2. In the list of integrated media sources, click row of the media source integration you want to delete.
  3. In the Action column, click the Delete icon.
    A confirmation message displays.
  4. In the confirmation message, click Yes, delete.
    The account level cost integration is deleted. The collection of cost data for the previously integrated account stops immediately. There is no impact to historical data.

Agencies can't use Cost Settings to perform cost integrations for multiple apps at the same time.
