MoPub ad revenue configuration

At a glance: MoPub, an AppsFlyer integrated partner, provides app owners with ad revenue-generating solutions.

Setting up MoPub integration

Advertisers set up MoPub using the Dashboard.

To access MoPub settings:

  1. Go to Configuration > Integrated partners
  2. Search for and select MoPub.
  3. Update settings (per tab) as required. See the following section.

Ad revenue

MoPub provides ad revenue data as follows:

Impression-level data by SDK

Before you begin:

To enable impression-level data by SDK:

  1. Go to the Ad Revenue tab.
  2. Select impression-level, to do so, click User level integration.
  3. Click Save Ad revenue.
    AppsFlyer records Ad revenue reported by SDK.

Aggregate level data

Before you begin:

  • Ask your MoPub account manager for your app ID.
  • Get the API key and Inventory report ID from your MoPub dashboard.

To enable ad revenue aggregate data:

  1. Go to the Ad Revenue tab.
  2. Turn Get Ad Revenue Data on.
  3. Complete the credential and event fields:
    • API key
    • Inventory report ID
    • App ID
  4. Select the type of ad revenue data you want to receive: Attributed revenue and/or Aggregated monetization revenue:
    • Attributed Revenue: Revenue based on the user acquisition source. Select to receive either SDK-level or aggregate data. When selecting aggregate data, In Event Source, select in-app event that represents the ad monetization trigger. This event is usually sent for each ad impression. For example, ad watched or video watched.
    • Aggregated monetization revenue: Revenue based on the ad source.
  5. Click Save Ad Revenue.
  6. Click Test Connection
  7. Do one of the following:
    • If the message API connection verified displays, you have successfully completed the procedure. AppsFlyer collects the data from the partner once a day.
    • If any other message displays, take corrective action in accordance with the status message.
