| What’s new? | Starting July 2026, Cohort and Activity metrics in My Dashboards are moving to upgraded data infrastructure designed to support AI-ready data. These changes will roll out gradually to clients throughout July - August 2026. As part of this gradual rollout, you may notice changes to some metric values, historical data availability, and segmentation options. This update introduces new view types and metrics for Activity data, improves Unique User accuracy in Cohort data, and expands historical data and segmentation options across both Cohort and Activity. |

| What you should know | Retargeting and UA view types now available for ActivityActivity data can now be filtered and analyzed by view type, including Retargeting and UA.
Net Revenue metrics now available for Cohort and ActivityClients measuring net revenue via ROI360 or by passing the
These metrics are only visible to clients sending net revenue data. CTV app support now available for Cohort and ActivityCohort and Activity metrics are now available for CTV apps. New dimensions now available for Cohort and ActivityThe following dimensions are now available for segmentation in both Cohort and Activity:
Extended historical data for CohortFor most Cohort metrics, you now have access to data from May 6, 2024 onward, adding about 6 more months of history than before. This does not apply to Unique Users daily data, which starts from June 3, 2025. Unique Users updated calculation method for Cohort daily breakdownsThe following metrics now use an updated calculation method for daily Cohort breakdowns, such as Day 1, Day 7, and other daily breakdowns:
What changed and whyUsers are now identified at the device level. A user who re-engaged multiple times is counted once, not once per re-engagement. This corrects previous overcounting for apps running re-engagement campaigns. If your app runs re-engagement campaigns, you may see daily Unique User numbers decrease. This is a correction, not a drop in actual users or performance. The new method uses a probabilistic counting approach, which introduces a very small margin of approximation, typically within 1–2%. This is expected behavior, not a data error. Data availability
Unique Users and Active Users historical availability for ActivityFor dates before June 3, 2025, Unique Users and Active Users in Activity are only available broken down by date. Totals across a date range are available from June 3, 2025 onward. This applies to any metric calculated from Unique Users or Active Users. This is a permanent limitation. Uninstalls temporarily unavailable for CohortThe Uninstalls metric is temporarily unavailable. It is expected to return within 1–2 quarters. LTV is not affected. Ad revenue unified in UTC across all dashboardsAd revenue metrics across all dashboards now display in UTC, regardless of integration type or app-level timezone settings. Historical data is not affected. About the transitionThe goal of this migration is to move Cohort and Activity data to a more modern and scalable infrastructure that improves data reliability and performance, enables AI-ready analytics capabilities, and supports future product improvements across AppsFlyer’s aggregated attribution data. If you need to reference older data, the Cohort & Retention dashboard remains available. Use it to access Cohort Unique Users data from before June 3, 2025, or to view Uninstalls data while the metric is being rebuilt. |
