About AI Assistant
The AI Assistant is your self-service analytics and guidance companion, built to help you uncover insights and make smarter decisions with AppsFlyer. Use it side by side with your dashboard data to quickly explore and understand your marketing performance.
You can ask questions directly in the AI Assistant, or use Analyze with AI from My Dashboards to investigate the data behind any chart in context, helping you drill into trends, compare segments, and understand what’s driving performance changes without switching views.

Get text summaries of any chart
Generate a concise explanation of what the chart shows, highlights, lowlights, increases, decreases, and key takeaways.Explain trends and fluctuations
Ask questions like “What could explain this trend?” and the AI will break down your data by dimensions (media source, geo, campaign, etc.) to uncover what drove increases or drops.Compare top performers

Use clear metric-based questions (installs, cost, ROI, ROAS, retention, revenue, etc.).
Use dimension-based queries (media source, geo, campaign, ad, platform).
Ask for comparisons when investigating anomalies or performance changes.
How to turn it on/off
Admins can toggle the AI Assistant on or off via the Account & Profile.
Once enabled, the AI Assistant appears as a sparkle AI star icon on all platform pages.
To turn on or off the AI Assistant:
- From the top bar, open the account menu (email address dropdown) > Account & Profile.
- In the AI Assistant activation section, turn on or off the AI assistant.
How to use the AI assistant
- Click the sparkle AI star
in the navigation bar to open the chat window.
- Ask a question. These can be:
- Picked from the suggested questions
- Type your own question. These can be:
- Data-related questions.
- How-to questions.
- View the responses in text, table, or charts.
- Use the follow-up suggestions to refine your analysis or question.
Tip!
The AI assistant will respond differently depending on which page you ask the question on.
- When using the chat in My dashboards, responses will be shown according to the selected apps unless you tell the AI otherwise.
- In any other page, the answer will be provided based on the first app in the account, unless you tell the AI otherwise.
Other features
- The chat can be resized by clicking on the expand button.
- Use the Copy button to save responses if needed.
- Start a new conversation by clicking on the right side icon.
How to use Analyze with AI
From any chart in My Dashboards
- Hover over a widget.
- Click the Analyze with AI
button.
- Choose a predefined question (summary, trend explanation, comparison, etc.) or type your own.
- The AI Assistant sidebar opens with the answer and suggested follow-up questions.
- Continue the conversation to explore specific segments, metrics, or time ranges in more detail.

Requirements
- You must have access to the AppsFlyer platform and at least one app in your account.
- Admin permissions are needed to enable or disable the AI Assistant in Account Settings.
Data and knowledge sources
Public Knowledge combines the AppsFlyer Knowledge Base and Developer Hub with account-level information to provide accurate and relevant answers.
My Dashboards AI can answer questions about marketing performance data. The dimensions and metrics available in answers are the same as those available in My Dashboards.
Please note that any account, user, or app information is restricted and will only be used according to the user’s permissions.
Feedback & Improvements
Your feedback is essential for improving the AI Assistant. If a response is unclear, incomplete, or incorrect, you can share feedback using the thumbs up/down options or by adding a custom comment. You can also continue the conversation directly in chat to refine the answer. Every piece of feedback helps us enhance the assistant’s accuracy and effectiveness.
Open a ticket from the AI Assistant
You can contact AppsFlyer through the AI Assistant or from the top menu, Help > Contact our team. When you click Contact our team, the AI Assistant opens and asks how it can help. Enter your question to get an AI-generated answer first.
If the answer doesn’t resolve your issue, you can ask the AI Assistant to open a ticket. The AI Assistant may also offer to escalate the conversation when more help is needed.
You can ask the AI Assistant to route your request to the relevant team, for example:
- “Open a ticket to Support.”
- “Open a ticket to my CSM.”
- “Open a billing ticket.”
- “I need help from the Fraud team.”
The AI Assistant reviews your request and routes the ticket to the relevant team, such as Support, Customer Success, Billing, or Fraud. It may ask follow-up questions before opening the ticket to make sure the team has the details needed to help you.
Only one ticket can be opened per AI Assistant session.

Privacy/security
AppsFlyer AI can make mistakes. AI answers are based on your account’s aggregated data. Your data is never stored or used to train AI models.
- When enabled, the AI Assistant uses your app’s aggregated marketing data to provide instant answers in response to your data-related questions.
- Opt-Out: Admins can disable the AI Assistant anytime from Account Settings. When disabled, the AI Assistant will not be available for any users in the account. Please refresh the page to see the change take effect.
